About Pizza Geeks


After kicking things off as a street-food vendor back in 2016, Pizza Geeks opened their flagship RESTAURANT in Haymarket Back in 2018, followed by a second in Leith in 2021. The Easter Road pizzeria rounds out the trilogy opening up in late 2023.

Picture this: you're in a cosy restaurant, yet it hums with arcade nostalgia. That’s Easter Road for you: vibrant, retro-infused and absolutely delicious.

Let’s geek out over the menu—a playful, pun-filled masterclass in Neapolitan-style pizza and sides:

  • Start with “Dalek Bread”—nine pillowy dough balls you customise with fillings from mozzarella to haggis and dips to match. Want something lighter? There’s an eight-ball version too.

  • Next up: Machete’s Hot Bytes and MacGyver & Cheese Bytes—crispy, dip-friendly bites of garlic-rosemary base or mac and cheese crumb, perfect for sharing.

  • On to the hero pizzas:

    • The Luigi: tomato, fior di latte, pepperoni, mushrooms & basil.

    • The Mario: tomato, fior di latte, olive oil & basil—simple, elegant.

    • The Super Mario: vegan mozzarella, vegan pepperoni, mushrooms & basil—the plant-powered level-up.

    • The G.o.a.T: tomato, goat’s cheese, caramelised onions, rocket, grana padano & balsamic glaze.

    • The Pineapple Express: fior di latte, ham hock, pineapple & Sriracha—for sweet, spicy bliss.

    • The Chorizard: fior di latte, chorizo, black pudding, chillies & hot honey—a brave, smoky combo.

    • The Braveheart: potatoes, mushrooms, red onion, black olives, blue cheese & garlic-rosemary oil—a Scottish-heartie.

    • The Wildling: garlic-rosemary base, spinach, goat’s cheese, butternut squash & sweet chilli jam—vegetarian, vibrant.

    • The Millennium Chicken: garlic-rosemary base, fior di latte, ham hock, blue cheese & Sriracha.

    • The Fantastic Four: garlic-rosemary base, fior di latte, blue cheese, goat’s cheese & grana padano—the cheese enthusiast’s dream.


Want to “level up” your meal? Add burrata (£4) or swap in garlic fries, vegetarian parmesan, or vegan mozzarella for just £1. Feeling indulgent? Go for a 12″ or even a gluten-free base for a small surcharge.
